TGIF, here are some smart ways to turn up for less this weekend.

Hey! Flexxer, the weekend is right around the corner and we know you can’t wait to get your groove on and just Flexx. Got turn up plans already or you’re at loss of what to do? Whatever you decide to do, here are some ways you can spend less and still have the time of your life.

    1. Share resources and facilities: When planning for your TGIF turn up, make arrangements to hitch rides with your friends (share cabs at most), split drink/food fees with your friends. Have everyone contribute so that you guys get things you need in bulk and save more.
    2. Organize a bring your own booze (drink, food) party: If you don’t feel up to going out but still want to have fun with your friends, your best bet is a BYOB party. This is a party where the attendees bring something to the party (can be drinks, snacks, food, music, lights, or even services etc.). Here, everyone pitches in one way or the other and you get to have the utmost fun for way way less money.
    3. Watch a movie in your room alone or with friends: Don’t have much cash at hand? No problem, download that movie you want to see at the cinemas, turn off your light, grab a snack and have yourself a nice time. You can also invite your friends and turn it into a movie night.
    4. Eat before you leave home: Foods/Drinks in clubs and restaurants can be overpriced so eating from home will save you the tons of money you’ll have to spend buying those stuff. When you eat from your house, you won’t be pressed to buy so much wherever you go, besides you can also use the money to buy the same food/drinks around you before going to spend triple the usual price in a fancy place.
    5. Take advantage of discounts: Being a financially smart Flexxer involves being aware of deals and discounts around you. So, always ask if there are discounts available especially if you’re buying in bulk (when you’re with friends) or check their flyers. Your Flexx account already gives you exclusive and direct access to all the numerous deals available on the Flexxzone. If you aren’t on the Flexx train yet, open your Flexx account here right now and subscribe to the Flexxzone to be on our exclusive Flexxers list.
