As much as the university presents a lot of fun, meeting new people and learning, there have also been times that brought tears to the eyes of students. We are coming close to the end of the year; it’s time to make that memoir.

1. When you gain admission into the University.
Oh, what joy that feels your soul. After 2-5 jambs? Please, go ahead and celebrate.
2. When you meet your roommates.
New people? Why not! Let’s see where this journey takes us.
3. When you lost a fellow student.
That can be terribly sad. After all, you only just saw him waving fondly at you yesterday.
4. When you get a ‘B and C’ in most courses.
‘Is it not your mates that are getting ‘A’?’ Trust a Naija mama to point this out to you.

5. When you finally get an ‘A’ in that course.
Yes o. Your village people did not see you. Even the lecturer had to respect your geniuses.
6. When you have an original ‘April Fool’ experience.
It can be as hilarious as it can be traumatic. April 1st is the day for prank Lords to show their skills.
7. When you finally go out on a date and he’s paying.
Who knows when next you’d be asked to go eat free food? Please, eat well.
8. When a coursemate gets pregnant out of wedlock.
Uh-oh. Your parents will put the fear of God in you, as though it was you who got pregnant.
9. Yaay! No assignment, no test.
LOL, see them…lazy students. The lecturer is coming back o.
10. When the Vice-Chancellor is still talking on your convocation day.
All the hard work finally paid off. And all you want to do is go scream and celebrate the fact that you are a graduate.
