  • The name Kaduna is gotten from the Hausa word “Kada” which means ‘crocodile’. Kaduna is the plural of Kada and this simply means crocodiles. The  state is named after the famous Kaduna river which has an abundance of crocodiles and different types of fishes.

  • The Kaduna Books and Art festival is holding from July 5th to 8th 2017 at the Gusau Institute Kaduna and it’s going to be lit. Featuring renowned African writers, artists and literature enthusiasts, the Kaduna Book and Arts festival will explore the rich cultural heritage of Northern Nigeria and Africa through book conversations, panel discussions, poetry,art exhibitions, food tasting and so much more.
