How to go from a hot mess to a financial success

If you’re guilty of always being broke before the end of the month, it is time to lose the unnecessary weight and pick up healthy money habits.

  1. Have A Side Boo Hustle. Sorry to burst your bubble but a 9-5 alone won’t give you all the wealth you desire. A legit side hustle combined with your 9-5 is a sure way to create lasting wealth.
  2. Budget. Whatever that will require your hard earned dough must have a budget; be it clothes, groceries, entertainment, etc. Impulse buying is not even an option so budget your every penny!
  3. Substitute. Gym subscription too expensive; download workout videos off the Internet. Need organic food; your neighbourhood aboki is your go-to guy! Your bills have a cheaper alternative; just research!
  4. Automate your savings. Don’t put all your eggs in a basket; literally! If you receive your salary in a single account, you’ll exhaust it in no time. Place a standing order on your account for some of your money transferred to a savings account on payday.
  5. Be accountable. If a friend or acquaintance has good money habits, make he/she your accountability partner.
