The rainy season is still on and there’s nothing we can do about it. Nature is simply taking its course!
However, as a fashionista that you’re, if it’s raining, you had better not wear the following:
1. Heels
Oh, sweetheart, leave those heels for the dry season. It can get really slippery crossing the road on heels when it’s raining heavily.
2. Sheer clothes with cut-outs or holes
This is to protect yourself from the cold. Pneumonia is real. Sheer and cut-outs clothes that expose significant parts of your body are bound to attract cold.

3. Suede shoes
If you love that shoe, you’d better leave it at home or better still, pack it up and wear it when you get to your destination. This will help avoid ruining the shoes. Alternatively, you can get rubber and waterproof shoes.
4. White
We know white is your favourite colour, but do you think you can hold off until the rainy season is over? As we can only say ‘sorry’ when a puddle of dirty water is splashed on you by a speedy vehicle.
5. Long flowy dress
Have you seen any female grabbing her long flowy gown or skirt and trying to prevent the wind from embarrassing her? Lol…avoid all that drama and wear clothes that stay close to the body to prevent ‘story that touch’.
There you go! The ‘Don’t wear’ fashion for the rainy season.
