ICYMI: Interesting activities you can be part of in NYSC camp

Now that you’re done with school, you should be gearing up for the orientation camp of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). It could be frustrating, but lots more interesting when you have information at your disposal.

Want to know how to make the days worthwhile? Here are a few interesting activities you can participate in during your 21-day stay in camp and create good memories while at it.

Burn-fire night

The burn-fire is a night every prospective corper looks forward to from the first week they get into camp. It is a blend of music, camaraderie and concentrated fire.

Man’O War drill

One of the most fun – yet exhausting – activities that happen at the camp is, of course, “the Man’O war drill”. A lot of people dread the thought of being a part of that exercise even before being assigned to their various NYSC camps. Exercises at the drill range from jumping fences to climbing ropes, crawling under barb wires, martial arts and all. You will sure lose some pounds after a couple of days

Mr Macho

At NYSC camp, the famous Mr Macho contest gives guys a chance to show off some hot abs. Hunky guys get a chance to show their abs and contest with each other for the Number 1 spot. Where’re all our hunkies at? You see, National Youth Service camp isn’t that much of a bore after all.
