Doctors and nurses are quite underappreciated. They work pretty hard and spend hours trying to ensure we stay healthy and illness-free.
We, however, can’t ignore the pretty hilarious and sometimes, frustrating things that happen in hospitals. If you’ve ever been to a Nigerian hospital (which we’re guessing every Nigerian has, at some point), this is for you. (Health practitioners, we’d like to have a word or two 😌 )
When you step into the hospital, smell the odour and see the long queue at the same time

You walk into the doctor’s office and greet him/ her. The doctor replies to you while staring at the computer screen, typing away while you wait in awkward silence. After about 5 minutes, the doctor finally asks ‘Yes, how may I help you?’
When the Doctor casually says ‘You’ll have to take an injection’
Excuse me? You and who? And why are you so calm about this?
