Let’s meet you (Your name, what you do and where you are from)

I am Dada Emmanuel Ifeoluwa, a Tech Enthusiast & Tutor from Ekiti State, Nigeria.

How long have you been doing this?

4 years

What inspired you to go into business?

I realized a lot of young people in my state didn’t have tech skills that will help make their lives better. In addition to that, many of them didn’t see tech skills as something they require. I knew this was a disaster in waiting, given how technology is taking over the world.

What are the challenges you face as a young entrepreneur?

As a young entrepreneur, I mostly face the challenge of coming down to everyone’s level of assimilation. With the understanding that people have different educational backgrounds comes the difficult task of teaching them with their unique differences in mind and basically ensuring they get real value.

What was your highest and lowest point since you started this journey?

My highest point in this journey was getting to orientate vast majority of youths in three different states: Lagos, Oyo and Ekiti. I enjoyed travelling to these states to equip youngsters with tech skills and can’t wait to cover as many states as possible in Nigeria.

My lowest point was really not low per say. I awkwardly remember a session I held somewhere, and the participants kept asking me tons of questions. Because of the limited time, I couldn’t do justice to the questions and it made me feel bad. Yes, it wasn’t my fault but I always like to give people value for their time. I promised them that I would be back.

What do you aim to achieve in the next 12 months in relation to your business?

My goal is to visit at least 3 states In 12months, bringing youth together, enlightening them on the importance of technology and equipping them with tech skills.

What are your short and long-term goals?

Basically, I want to see everyone that pass through my academy excel and, in the long run, equip as many people as possible in their end with same skills. I want them to be tech advocates, impact makers and employers of labour.

In addition, I have come to understand the economic impact of tech in every nation of the world and I believe tech has a place in significantly boosting Africa’s economy. So, I hope to be a driver of this growth by expanding my business to other African countries.

Which individuals do you get inspiration from and why?

I get my inspiration from my spiritual father, PROPHET T.A OJOTISA whose deep words are food for my soul. Individuals Like Ajaeze, Move And Dream, Pera Cash, Akin Busari, also inspire me greatly on this journey because of their support and cheers.

How do you unwind?

I love to read! Books give me life and I immerse myself with them anytime, any day.

What advice would you give your fellow Flexxers who are on this path?

Just START! It won’t be rosy; nevertheless, START!  A lot of people depend on you to  define their path and thrive. Don’t wait till you’re 100% ready; just start!
