Last year saw a number of performers with promising talents enter the Nigerian entertainment industry. Based on current and previous performance, check out these 10 artistes to watch out for in 2019.
- Teni the Entertainer
The 25-year-old songwriter and vocalist, Teniola Akpata popularly known as Teni the Entertainer, shamed her haters as she soared through 2018 with ease. With hit songs like Askamaya, Your Case and Rambo, we definitely can’t wait to see what she has planned for 2019.
- Peruzzi
Tobechukwu Victor Okoh aka Peruzzi, seems like the guy to call if you want your song to be a hit. Peruzzi is a singer and songwriter under the Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) record label. He has shown strong prospects with hit collaborations and features like Aza, Red Handed and For Your Pocket.
- Victor AD
Victor Adere has enjoyed success so far with his hit song Wetin We Gain. We anticipate more from this promising act.
- Mystro
Mystro has been in the music industry before now, but solely as a producer working with artistes such as Iyanya, Wizkid, K-Cee, Waje and many others. Mystro is also a songwriter, instrumentalist, singer and performer. He has mastered his art and we should be hearing more from him this year.
