Dapper office casual outfits for Flexxers

Formal outfits are necessary for corporate environs like banks and law firms however, a smart casual look has become the norm in many corporations today. In several workplaces, employees prefer the business casual attire especially in cases where clients and customers don’t often visit. Employees are often allowed to express their personality through their clothing.

Here’s a simple guideline on choosing outfits that are not only comfortable but ultimately work friendly.

  • Shoes

Loafers, flats, sneakers, moderate heels and boots are acceptable and complementary to a subtle work casual outfit. Glittering shoes that portray a party or festive look aren’t appropriate.

  • Blazers/Jacket

A person always exudes professionalism and smartness with a jacket on. Black and blue blazers are regular for work but they lean toward a formal image while warmer colors like maroon or mustard yellow can be worn to accentuate a more casual but smart look.

  • Trousers/Pant suits

Trousers are regularly worn to the workplace for both male and female flexxers, however, yoga pants, shorts, leggings, joggers and rubber pants should be avoided when trying to dress smart to an office setting. Fitted but not so tight as comfort is key. Patterns and colors should be concise and sophisticated.

  • Hats and Jewelry

Many employers restrict their workers from using hats and head coverings at the workplace except if worn for cultural and religious purposes.

Jewelries are part of a complete outfit and could also complement a flexxer’s personality therefore, wristwatches, rings, necklaces and earrings should be worn with limits so the official look doesn’t get compromised.
