We all know the month of January is four months rolled into one because it usually long and before the first two weeks roll by, we’re already broke. The recession is also not helping matters so if you’re already counting down to the end of the month, we devised a means to help you survive your January until Payday or when the next allowance comes in *wink* *wink*
- Use your legs: Few things can take you to places for free of charge than your legs so skip all those 50/100 naira bike fare distances and take a stroll instead. This makes your body and your purse healthy.
- Cooking: This month, it is advisable that you go dig up your cooking skills and make breakfast and lunches to take to work/classes because restaurants and canteens will drain your wallets and still leave you hungry. This way your money and resources will last for the whole month.
- Data calls: Nobody got airtime to be making calls and sending texts anyhow when you can do all that with your data subscription. Take good advantage of all the chat and call apps on your phone and save yourself some money
- Owambe worthy clothes: What’s a New Year without fun and turn ups but we all know you can’t afford some turn-up expenses now so what should you do? Gather all your “Owambe” worthy clothes and look for owambe parties to attend, that way you get to have premium fun and eat good food.
