Behold, the new NYSC Secretary General!
Most NYSC corps members are already familiar with the name Sule Zakari Kazaure (S.Z. Kazaure for short), as he was the Director General of the scheme. Well, that’s about to change. The newest development right now is that the Nigerian Army has appointed Brigadier Shuaibu Ibrahim, the pioneer registrar of the Nigerian Army University, Biu, as the new Director-General of the NYSC.

Ok, let’s get to know the new NYSC DG. Shall we?
Brigadier Shuaibu Ibrahim hails from Nasarawa State and is an alumnus of the University of Jos where he obtained his Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in History. He also obtained his Doctorate Degree (PhD) in History from the University of Abuja.

In addition, he has authored several books and publications and has held numerous positions in the course of his career.
We look forward to seeing the changes and developments that will take place under the tenure of the new NYSC DG. (Will there be an increment in the allawee? We’ll keep our fingers crossed!)
