Gone are those days when women were largely regarded as mere housekeepers. Now, the world is evolving, and women are breaking barriers. Many of them contribute actively to the development of not only their homes but also the economy. Here are a few lessons to learn from some of the most successful female entrepreneurs in the world….
- Be yourself
According to the CEO of PepsiCo, Indra Nooyi, as an entrepreneur or aspiring one, it is important that you always be yourself. You don’t have to do things the way everyone else does, do them the way you think is right. As an entrepreneur, not believing in yourself could lead to a drop in confidence. You must believe in yourself first before expecting anyone else to believe in you.
- Know your talent
Tara Fela Durotoye is a lawyer who had a passion for makeup, developed the skills needed to become a makeup artist and started her business right from her living room. She named it ‘House of Tara’. For an entrepreneur, it is not enough to have talent. You also need to identify and develop it!
