Remember we mentioned in this post that Lagos has been selected as the spotlight city in the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival city to city spotlight programme; this means that 8 new Nigerian movies will be specially featured at the World acclaimed festival to reflect the new wave of cinema coming out of Nigeria’s cultural capital. The films are The Wedding Party, 93 days, The Arbitration, Okafor’s Law, 76, Green White Green, Just Not Married and Taxi Driver.
The festival started last week and Nollywood has been repping Nigeria like mad and giving us intense fashion goals.
