Olabisi Onabanjo University Rap Culture Crew organizes the “The Next Rap King” rap contest.

The Next Rap King rap contest is a yearly rap contest to crown the best rapper in Olabisi Onabanjo University, the contest is organised by the “OOU Rap Culture” crew who are a group of talented rapper students who wanted to create an avenue for rappers in the school to showcase their talents.

Initially the “OOU Rap Culture” was a freestyle event held in lecture theatres where rappers come together to freestyle over a given beat and so a rap battle takes place, but when more audience and rappers trooped in, they decided to organize the “Next Rap King” contest which is going to be held outside the school premises on the 12th of May, 2017 at the hall opposite relaxation center by 11 am.

The Next Rap King rap contest promises to be fun as rappers such as Exteey, Cyvibes, Grim, Aceix, Zeal chainz and many others will be battling with words, punchlines and bars on stage to win the coveted “OOU Rap king” crown.  Follow the OOU Rap Culture account on Instagram (@oourapculture) for updates and more information.
